your adaptive intelligence guide

We have more knowledge and convenience than ever, but it doesn't feel like success.
That's because creative is the new smart and many of us are overwhelmed and unprepared.
If you are struggling to find harmony between work and life, I will help you think strategically to
(1) change to better fit your environment, (2) better shape the environment, or (3) find a better environment.

Gush about how great work is going

Consultants and coaches have been touting the power of personality, purpose, and passion for decades, yet talented professionals are leaving the workplace in unprecedented numbers...  Why?  Because understanding those factors is necessary, but not sufficient for the best fit at work.  Discover how the Social Emotional Technical (SET) determinants of work™ can best align talent with strategic goals.

Reshaping Health

The way we treat health is Dead on Arrival.  Let's change that.

The US spends twice as much as other developed countries on the healthcare system, but experiences worse outcomes.  Why?  Only about 10-20% of health outcomes are actually related to the healthcare system.  The vast majority of our health outcomes are attributable to individual behaviors and social drivers of health.  We need to tackle this paradox--not treat the healthcare system as a silo--if we want to improve public health.  Follow along at Reshaping Health on Substack.

About Julie Dusold Culbertson

My problem-solving work in the health and wellness space has driven behavioral change in individuals and large organizations, leading me to establish Dusold Strategic.

By training, I am a health policy leader and wellness coach, with expertise in research, compliance, training, innovation, and communication.  Much of my work has involved improving public health programs and individual health behaviors.  But in recent years, I have discovered that the systems in place are so siloed that many people and organizations are scrambling for help.  That's why I became a business consultant:  To synthesize divergent information into cohesive, innovative solutions for individuals and organizations.  I'm also a social entrepreneur in the health and wellness space–current owner of giveback fine jewelry line Allusio, online functional fitness platform Studio Lemon Squeezy and co-founder of The Trustery, a mental health education nonprofit.

I have been a certified Project Management professional since 2011, and I hold a Master's in Public Administration and an interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in biology, psychology, and animal science, both from the University of Missouri.
